§ 16. Validity.

Should any section or provision of this Ordinance be declared as invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that decision shall not affect the validity of the Ordinance as a whole or any part thereof, other than the part so declared to be invalid, this Town Council hereby declaring that they would have passed those parts of this Ordinance which are valid, and omitted any parts of this Ordinance which are valid, and omitted any parts which may be unconstitutional or otherwise invalid if they had known that such parts were invalid at the time of the adoption of this Ordinance.
